"You Lookin At Me?!" Web Site

SUMMARY
Partnering with No Limits Media, we developed this web site to act
as a companion to the television program, as well as to act as a
comprehensive resource guide to the programs and services that serve
the disability community and their families. Drawing upon our experience
in programming sites that are ADA compliant, we strove to provide
an online resource that honored the spirit of the law and not just
the letter. For instance, the site was developed with slightly larger
than usual interface elements to accommodate web users with motor
skill impairments. There are also hidden links and access keys to
assist users with visual impairments and screen readers.
Our specific contributions to this project were project management,
interface design and conceptualization, page and graphic production,
client-side
programming, and ADA accessibility testing. The primary tools used
were Photoshop, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, DHTML, and Dreamweaver.
